Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement, which invites Christians around the world to pray between Ascension and Pentecost for more people to come to know Jesus Christ.
WHAT IS ON AT ST THOMAS'S?
On Ascension Day, Thursday May 30th, there will be a sung Eucharist at 8 pm.
On Saturday June 8th, there is an exciting day from 10 am to 3.30 pm called Pictures, Poetry and Prayer - discovering the power of Pentecost. This is a peaceful day of contemplation and creativity.
There will be a display of images and writing on the theme of the Holy Spirit to look at, craft activities and prayer stations to get involved with, , and prayerful videos to watch.
Refreshments will be available all day. At 11 am, you can join in learning some new songs written by Roger Evernden, and at 12 noon there will be a service including this music.
You will also be able to see the display on Saturday June 1st during the coffee morning from 10 am to 11.30 am, and as follows:
The church is open, as usual in summer, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week from 9 am to 5 pm.
Compline is said on Mondays at 8 pm. Morning prayer is said at 9 am Tuesday to Friday, and Evening Prayer at 5 pm Wednesday to Friday. There is a said Eucharist on Wednesdays mornings at 9.45 am.
