We want to be a church that reaches out to our community and parish.

Tea with friends is always a good idea!  And it’s even better when you don’t have to book it, pay for it or travel far to find it. Clearly many others think the same.

We’re excited about this new monthly event on a Thursday afternoon. for all-comers: non-church members and regular attenders, friends and neighbours, newcomers, children and old-timers. Some people come to make new friends.  We can organise transport for those who would like it.

We’re thinking up a different treat to serve each time but the welcome will be the same. Join us!

We issued out first Reaching Out - Community News from St Thomas Church Newsletter in September 2018. This will come out three times each year. It is delivered to most of the homes in the parish, and also available in church, and at other places in the town. It is designed to let local people know what’s happening at St Thomas’s. The church is here for you whether you are a church go-er or not.

The newsletter gives you a flavour of what is going on in the church during the week, and we hope that you will find something of interest to you. We have a huge variety of things happening, not only on Sundays—do please have a look through it and come along to anything that interests you, or contact Rev. Rachel or the church office for further information.
